LaLiga 2026/27 : ballon connecté, nouvelles règles et diffusion repensée

LaLiga a annoncé cette semaine un ensemble de nouveautés pour la saison 2026/27, qui a débuté samedi dernier (15) avec Alavés et Getafe. Les changements concernent la technologie, la diffusion et les règles du jeu, avec pour objectif de moderniser la compétition et d'améliorer l'expérience des supporters. Le principal est la mise en place de la technologie Connected Ball sur 100 % des matchs, faisant du championnat espagnol la première ligue professionnelle au monde à adopter le système de manière intégrale. La nouveauté a été confirmée par LANCE! et par des médias internationaux comme la BBC et le journal espagnol Marca, qui ont souligné l'impact sur l'arbitrage et l'analyse des données. Le système utilise un capteur dans le ballon pour envoyer des informations en temps réel au VAR et au système de hors-jeu semi-automatique.

Avec la Connected Ball, LaLiga propose désormais une couche de données officielle appelée xBALL, qui affiche des métriques comme la vitesse exacte des frappes, la rotation et la trajectoire du ballon pendant les diffusions. Ces données sont également disponibles pour l'analyse des clubs et des diffuseurs, élargissant l'utilisation de la traditionnal technology in and off the field. The new feature arrives at a time of international expansion: the league has signed an agreement with Migu for broadcasting in mainland China for four seasons, with 380 live matches per edition. The package includes on-demand content, highlights and short clips, adapted to the Chinese audience. With these initiatives, LaLiga seeks to position itself at the forefront of innovation in football, both on and off the field, in a year where Barcelona and Real Madrid face each other again for the title.
